A bond with a sibling is hard to describe: it is a connection that runs deep; spiritual; everlasting.
John, his family, and his support team have been working hard over the past few years to help John identify and reach his goals. One of these goals was a vacation to visit his brother Jake, sister in law Melissa, and his four nieces and nephews in the capital city, Ottawa. It has taken time and planning, but John finally made it this summer! John enjoyed an incredible four days with his family. They all enjoyed the hotel pool and hot tub, exploring the capital city, family dinner, picnic in the park, checking out the museum, and going to church where his brother ministers.
John also made a new friend Bryan! Bryan has also always wanted to go to Ottawa so they split the gas, hotel and made it a road trip adventure together!
We try hard to make adventures like this happen for the people we support, to help them fulfill their goals and dreams, but sometimes finances are a barrier.
