There was a joint Provincial and Federal infrastructure announcement on March 4th to announce investments for six projects in London through the Community, Culture and Recreation Infrastructure Stream (CCRIS) of the Investing in Canada plan, and we are thrilled to be selected as one of the recipients. We are pleased to share the news that PHSS will be receiving funding to install an elevator at the Community Place North building.
The installation of an elevator will make the building completely accessible, connecting the upper and lower levels. This is a very exciting announcement and we are grateful to MP Kate Young, MP Peter Fragiskatos, MPP Jeff Yurek, and Mayor Ed Holder for their support.
The video announcement was originally streamed on the City of London Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/LondonCanada/videos/243190997506750
